Consistently showing up to do ‘the work’.

Kelly showing up

One of the ways I manifest amazing things into my life is through consistency. I consistently show up and do the work.

I’ve had three conversations this week, one of them with my husband talking about only doing ‘the work’ when you are in a not so good place. It's only when they’re feeling off balance or going through a challenging time, that they’ll listen to podcasts that raise them up, read a self-development book or reach out to their coach. Their small daily rituals stop as soon as they start feeling good and in flow with life. They ride the wave and forget about the tools and practices that helped them get in the good feeling place in the first instance.

This made me reflect on my own practices. I have daily rituals, some are non-negotiable and consistent and some change depending on what I am focusing on at the time. I have a coach, who supports me through the challenging times and helps to elevate me when times are feeling amazing. I read a lot of books, again the content I'm reading depends on my focus. And I'm always learning. This is important to me because I'm an educator and a great educator continues their learning journey.

Investing time and energy into my daily rituals, into coaching, into purchasing courses and in memberships keeps me in a state of constant growth. Some of the work isn’t easy work, in fact it can feel messy and like wading through mud and other times it is pure pleasure and joy.

It’s because of this consistency on my growth that I am able to navigate through the challenging times, for example when my 2 and a half year old son had a series of strokes two years ago. I know my experience would have felt very different if it were not for my practices and rituals.

It’s exactly this reason that I developed the Manifesting Magic Circle Membership. To give consistency to rituals and to raise your vibration using small and simple practices.

After many conversations it was obvious that one of reasons that people don’t stick to their daily rituals or invest in other self development areas is because of time. They felt that time was limited and they needed to spend their time working, being a parent or doing all the other things that were on their to do list. Forgetting that spending even just a little bit of time on yourself daily will have a tremendous impact on your energy, giving you more energy to do all the other things you need to do, and that wins you back time because things feel easier!

I’m wondering do you have your constant practices that change your trajectory of life or do you dip in and out depending on your current state?

Imagine where your life could be if you showed up consistently to 'do the work'!
