Feeling immense gratitude elevates your energy.
I feel epic today! I feel such a huge sense of gratitude toward life in general but massively towards my husband.
We watched the movie ‘Ghost’ last night, it wasn’t intentional, we were flicking through the T.V channels and came across it. I have seen this movie many times before, however something shifted in me last night.
At the end of the movie I had a deep sense of gratitude toward my husband, a sense of love that runs so deep and the knowing that our souls were brought together so we could grow and expand in this life time.
Last September we went through a huge shift in our relationship. We met each other from a place we had never been before. We fell in love all over again from this new place. It was magical to go through. Since then, I have appreciated him on a whole new level. Don’t get me wrong I have always loved and appreciated my husband, it’s just been elevated more recently.
I cried in his arms last night filled with love, knowing that one day one of us will depart before the other. We don’t know when or how but we do know it is inevitable. The tears weren’t for the grief of one of us dying, they were because I feel so grateful to have him in my life now.
We fell asleep wrapped up together like a pretzel. When I woke up this morning I looked at him and thought to myself that I want to make each day count with him, however many years we have together. It may look like a gentle kiss in the morning, telling him 10 times a day that I love him or listening to him when he speaks to me, as in REALLY listen. Or it may be bigger gestures. I just know I want to make it count.
I didn’t go for a run this morning, instead I spent that time with my husband. We had a lovely breakfast together. And I doubled yoked my egg, the universe is listening!
Sometimes the universe puts things in our path to wake us up, to help us gain greater clarity. I love witnessing how my life unfolds. I know I was meant to watch that particular movie last night.
Whilst I go through my day today, I feel awesome, I feel immense gratitude. And I know that only great things can be created from this kind of energy.
