I often ask for signs that the universe is listening, when I first started playing this game with the universe it would re-enforce my trust in the manifesting process. And the more I played it, the more joy I found in manifesting. And I believe manifesting should be fun!

I’ve just returned home from our family summer holiday in Egypt. I often play with manifesting when I'm on holiday, I really tap into my playful energy. Although it should absolutely not be capped to just holiday vibes.

Before we jetted of I asked the universe for an upgrade in our hotel on arrival. I said I didn’t mind what upgrade we got. I would leave that up to the universe but I would love to arrive to a surprise. Now, when I’ve asked for this before we have been gifted with free drinks, bottles of champagne or upgrades to honeymoon suites. So, to leave this to the universe felt fun.

When we arrived at our hotel the receptionist asked me if I like surprises. I smiled as I knew that the universe was playing with me. I said yes! He told us to take a seat while he organised it and then 5 minutes later came over to tell us that our suite had been upgraded. Woohoo. I looked at my husband with that knowing look of ‘of course we have’. The room we had been upgraded to had two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a sitting room with dining area, an entrance hall and three balconies, two of them over looking the pool. Wow! Now, I know that we don't really need that amount of space on holiday but to see the excitement in the boys faces when they saw it was priceless.

I played some more. We went on a private snorkelling trip, the first ever snorkelling trip for our boys. I asked the universe to gift us with the presence of a dolphin. I was told it’s quite rare to see them where we were going and you’d be lucky to spot one.

Within 10 minutes of our trip a beautiful dolphin came to play. I felt honoured to see him and so grateful. Another wink from the universe that playing with my manifesting is a sure way to have to fun and bring to life everything I desire.

As humans we can find it hard to trust in something that we have no evidence of. Our mind banks evidence of how things have played out for us in the past. When you go to take an action or make a decision our brain goes in to our files and searches for evidence on how we think the scenario will play out. But when we don’t have evidence stored for something or we have a constant belief that something wont work out we freeze, we don’t take action or we back away.

When it comes to trusting the manifesting process, when it comes to believing that you are not alone on your manifesting journey, that you really can ask for anything and the universe will start to work to bring you what you desire, there is often not enough evidence to back up the trust. This slows down our manifesting of the things we really want. 

There are many ways to help train the brain to believe something to be true and gain the evidence you require. But this has to be one of my favourite ways. I love this as a manifesting tool because it brings so much joy when you start to see your manifestations come to you.
